A biodiversity intelligence ecosystem supporting collaborative environmental insight
Learn how to upload surveys, images and GPX tracks to the mybiOSis ecosystem.
To assemble reports and export data in different formats, surveys must be uploaded to the kladia.info server and stored in the Nature Digital Object Repository (NDOR).
Once uploaded, surveys become available in the Litter.Mapper web application inside the kladOS environment, where you can inspect surveys, process unidentified observations and prepare exports.
To upload surveys, select the Upload data option from the menu.
This opens a panel displaying the list of your existing surveys. To upload a survey, tap its name.
The application will guide you through the upload process and display the status of each operation.
Surveys that have been successfully uploaded display a check mark next to their name.
You can tap these rows again if you want to re-upload the data, for example after editing observations or adding new images.
Survey information, observations and associated metadata are uploaded to the server.
Photos linked to observations are uploaded and can later be reviewed in the web application.
Recorded GPS trails are uploaded together with the survey, allowing movement paths to be visualized.
The mobile app is connected with a web application available through kladOS, where uploaded survey data can be explored in a broader data-management environment.
