Welcome to Litter.Mapper

Litter.Mapper is a mobile application designed to support the collection and visualization of litter data, especially in marine and coastal environments.

The application follows survey workflows inspired by OSPAR beach litter monitoring guidelines and can be used by citizen scientists, researchers, NGOs and environmental agencies.

Part of the mybiOSis ecosystem

Data collected with Litter.Mapper can be uploaded to the mybiOSis ecosystem, where it can be stored, visualized and explored through the kladOS platform and the NDOR data infrastructure.

The web component of Litter.Mapper allows users to inspect surveys, visualize records on maps and connect field observations with broader environmental assessment workflows.
